Fredericksburg March for Babies

I am so excited to be able to share with you a video of the work I recently did for the March of Dimes. I was asked to be the official photographer for the Fredericksburg March for Babies fundraiser. This was such an amazing event! The March of Dimes is an organization that is very near and dear to my heart and has touched my life several times. I am delighted to have the honor of being able to photograph this event for them. ENJOY!

It’s Spring Break at Studio B

Studio B will be closed for a much needed Spring Break get away. We won’t be traveling far so you can still shoot me an email but we will be out and about taking in Jamestown, Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and many other some what local fun spots. Happy Spring everyone!

Old Friends are the BEST

March 7^th Old Friend’s are the BEST! I have a friend that has been my BEST friend since the 6^th grade. (Don’t worry Lesa, I’m not telling them how long that has been!). This is a picture of my best friend and her family. I’m also posting an image of Lesa’s daughter Emilee and her best friend. Lesa, I remember when we were Emilee’s age! How on earth did your baby girl grow up so quickly! Were we as cute as they are when we were their age?

Studio B wins Court of Honor at VPPA Print Competition

Feb 29 I’m back from convention and just bursting with excitement! This was SUCH an amazing trip for me. After much fear and stalling I finally entered my first print competition. This was such a HUGE deal for me because some of the best photographers in the nation live right here in VA. To enter a competition with them was nerve wracking to say the least. I entered 6 prints and all 6 of them did very well. 2 prints received a red ribbon and the other 4 received blue ribbons and merit awards. But the most exciting thing was that one image was chosen for the Court of Honor as being outstanding in its category. I am beyond excited!!! Here are the winning images….

Feb 22 Ok, my bags are packed and I’m off to convention. I will be in Portsmouth rubbing elbows with some of the most talented photographers in VA. I am SO excited about the classes I will be taking! Oh, and there is that little thing about the print competition. Thank you so much Bill Piachesi for helping me to get my images all printed up. Everybody cross your fingers for me!
